Raf Simons


Raf Simons  is a Belgian designer born in 1968, originally studied Industrial design (Furniture design) then later became a fashion designer. in 1995 after years of fashion self-studying he debuted his first menswear collection. Later he worked with  Walter Van Beirendonck in Paris where he was exposed to the work of Martin Margiela and Jean-Paul Gaultier. Raf's career took turn when he became the creative director of Jil Sander in 2005. but the real shift was when it was announced that he will be replacing John Galliano as a creative director at Dior fashion house in April of 2012.

As of his work with dior it’s expected to see his first collection this July at the Couture show.
